The Silver Spoon Kitchen and Bakeshop...The silver spoon outside has been at the corner of 6th and C Ave since August 2011. Our beautiful dining rooms are furnished with antiques, brick, and wall hangings to truly make your lunch or dinner something special. Our private dining areas will make your dinner party something they will talk about for some time to come. Located in the old Johnson’s Creamery across from the Comanche County Court House, The Silver Spoon Kitchen and Bakeshop (formerly located in Walters) is owned by Vera Oldham, and is known for its soups, sandwiches, and salads. We also offer hot, daily specials, breakfast pastries, such as caramel sticky buns, cinnamon rolls, and bacon/cheddar scones. A variety of saucer-sized cookies, buttery brownies and bars are baked daily to make your tummy smile. A slice of Vera’s cheesecake is the ultimate sweet ending. To end your work day, visit the upstairs lounge and indulge with an appetizer and your favorite cocktail or one of our many craft beers. Wednesday through Saturday we offer a relaxing evening in our upstairs bar with some of Lawton’s finest local entertainment.
